Heritage Days at the Moulin de Porchères

171 Le Barrage
33660 Porchères

05 57 40 86 60 / 07 72 15 14 97

The entire Moulin de Porchères team is pleased to invite you to the 36th Journées du Patrimoine on 20th, 21st and 22nd September 2019.

We offer you the essential guided tour that allows you to understand the journey of the wheat grain that turns into flour as it passes through sorters, converters, screens and other incredible machines! You will not be insensitive to the industrial world of this 1937 flour mill, which has kept its majesty thanks to the volunteers who have been preserving it since 2008.

Listed as a Historic Monument, take advantage of these days at a reduced rate to discover a marvel!

You can also enjoy the famous "petits pains du Moulin", made on site all weekend long. Traditional bread, walnut-cheese, bacon, apricot and cinnamon, cereal or wholemeal, there will be something for everyone!

The sun will be there and will accompany you on a trip along the Isle River, aboard a waterbike. A real floating bike, this boat will allow you to enjoy the charms of the river by bypassing the Aubarède Natural Area. If you like cycling, you will be amazed by the amazing ease with which these waterbikes can be manoeuvred...

Presence of craftsmen for a demonstration of their know-how: forge, pottery, woodturning, creation in scrolled wood, bees in full work....
Used book stand
