Château Bigaroux is a small family farm of 0.6 ha, located at the foot of the Saint-Emilion hillside in the commune of Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens.
All chemical products have been eliminated since the year of purchase in 2012. The soils are worked with horses and according to the 4 ways method. The vinification is carried out in two ways: stainless steel tanks for the quantitative supplement. 2 barrels of 550 and 750 litres for a complete vinification where the berries will have fermented and macerated to express all their intensity.
The wine: an atypical Saint-Emilion which follows this complex process and in which the excellence of its terroir and the characteristics of each vintage will determine its pre-cellence.
Planting: 85% Merlot - 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Most of the vines are over 70 years old.
