For more than three centuries, our family's business has been established in the Libourne region of Bordeaux, in the communes of Puisseguin, Montagne Saint Emilion and Pomerol.

Our great-grandfather, Jean Lateyron, (Abel by his usual name), was at the origin of what constitutes the singularity of the family: "La prise de mousse(sparkling wine)" of the wines of the Libournais. He created his own company in 1897.

His son Paul (our grandfather), who had a better grasp of the "Champenoise" technique, moved to Montagne and in 1927 had Siméon Lacour connect two very large underground galleries (about 2 km) which today are overlooked by one of the highest vineyards in the Saint-Emilion region and which today form the heart of the estate. The location allows access to an exceptional viewpoint. We overlook the vineyards of Pomerol and up to Fronsac on one side and, we can see the bell tower of Saint Emilion while being next to the four mills of Calon.

The fifth generation has just arrived (Paul-André Lateyron) to work with his father Lionel and myself Corinne Lateyron (children of Claude Lateyron).

Today the 17 hectare vineyard is spread over the appellations Puisseguin (5.5 hectares), Montagne Saint Emilion (11 hectares) and Pomerol (0.5 hectare).

From this exceptional natural wealth, we wanted to guarantee the vineyard the serenity of longevity by going organic in 2010, while being accredited by Ecocert for the elaboration of the Crémant de Bordeaux in organic farming since 1993.

With authenticity, simplicity and sharing, we welcome you to reveal the specificity of our place of life.
This challenge allows us to question ourselves and is always enriching.

Our new challenge is to help you rediscover our original heritage!
