Cultural awakening and playful activities at the Village du Livre.
A real bookstore of the imagination, the Village du Livre, an atypical place, is renewed and allows at the same time the unusual visit of this former flour mill - which became an oil mill in the 19th century -, canoe rides, playful activities to awaken the interest of the youngest and exhibitions which will enchant the older ones and bring them back to the memories of their tender childhood.
Unique in France, this cabinet of curiosity proposes to you on 5000m² in an architectural unit charged with 5 centuries of history, an astonishing voyage through time, art and culture. The objects associated with the books reveal the themes to the visitors who can, as they wish, visit the place, leaf through a book, and buy all these treasures, objects and works.
This old mill located in the heart of our Aquitaine heritage allows a playful discovery of the place by proposing throughout the year games and animations such as the Escape Game, the Cluedo and the participation in our various events (literary meetings, Halloween, Easter egg hunt, workshops...) allowing a total immersion in the place, a playful learning and the sharing of an activity in family
