Château Haut Rocher is a 14-hectare family property whose history dates back to the 15th century. The same family has run the estate since its origin, each member having contributed to its development and prepared its future.
Situated in the eastern part of the Jurisdiction of Saint-Emilion, the vines are rooted in a clay-limestone hillside soil. Merlot is the main grape variety on the estate; the other grape varieties are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.
The estate has been in conversion to Organic Farming since 2019 and has just obtained the High Environmental Value Level 3 recognition.
We offer visitors a tour of the vineyard and the cellars followed by a tasting session. In addition to our Saint Emilion appellation wines, visitors will be able to discover another wine produced on the estate in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, Château Bréhat.
