From May 29 to 31, 2026, the cloister of the collegiate church of Saint-Émilion is transformed into a real medieval building site during the first edition of the Guyenne Medieval Construction Site "Hors les murs".
In partnership with the Chantier Médiéval de Guyenne, come and discover the secrets of medieval builders through demonstrations of stone cutting, workshops, ancient tools, medieval games and meetings with passionate craftsmen.
Friday will be dedicated to school children, while the weekend will offer free activities for all in an exceptional heritage setting. An immersive and convivial event to explore heritage know-how in a different way.
