Opening of the Indigo exhibition at the Maison Galerie Laurence Pustetto!
For the first exhibition of the year 2021, the Maison Galerie Laurence Pustetto in Libourne, presents the work of the painter Chris Pillot from 8 April to 30 May 2021.
The Maison Galerie Laurence Pustetto is an art gallery, opened at the beginning of 2020, which was able, despite the uncertain times and the confinements that followed, to present two exhibitions: "Quatuor" and "Arte Factus, l'art et le faire". These were received with interest by the press and the public.
Laurence Pustetto, the founder, passionate about art and a collector, is able, within this Gironde house, to present and defend great artists, both established and up-and-coming, through an intimate and thoughtful staging, sublimated in everyday living spaces.
For this new exhibition, the Indigo series by the painter Chris Pillot is highlighted. According to Laurence Pustetto: "The play of lines constructed by Chris Pillot leads to a hypnotic relationship with the viewer. It is a perpetually moving show that the artist elaborates by intuition, in a meticulousness of gesture and thought that becomes mathematical as well as spiritual. His works give off a real illusion of kinetic energy that daylight animates like a constantly renewed wave. »
Various works from previous series will also be presented. They allow us to follow the evolution of the artist and to walk with her to the Indigo series. The artist, now from Bordeaux, lived for 20 years in Senegal. A citizen of the world, her exhibition itinerary takes her work to Africa, Europe and Asia. This fascinating and singular work is to be discovered from 8 April 2021 at the Maison Galerie Laurence Pustetto.
