The site of Saint Emilion is a veritable open-air museum, founded according to legend by a modest hermit... A city steeped in history, perched on a rocky promontory, Saint Emilion and its vineyards derive their originality from the limestone that provides exceptional soil for its vines.

The Balades à Roulettes® (BR®) are short, leisurely walks, with a pushchair or small bike, or adapted for people with reduced mobility (in a wheelchair), offered by the Fédération Française de Randonnée de la Gironde.
CAUTION: Here, the route is on small tarmac streets that are also accessible to local residents' motor vehicles. The route has significant inclines and gradients, making it inaccessible to people in handchairs.
