The town of Coutras invites you to celebrate its traditional Carnival on Saturday 11 April. This year, the theme of the sea will take centre stage for a festive, friendly and colourful afternoon.
Young and old alike are invited to join the parade and let their imagination run wild: sailors, pirates, mermaids, fish or ocean explorers... It's up to you!
The parade will start at 2pm in front of the Salle Le Sully and will cross the town in a lively and warm atmosphere. Percussion, entertainment and good cheer will accompany the participants throughout the parade.
After the parade, the festivities will continue with:
Performances by majorettes
Performances by Zumbi Rei percussionists
A capoeira demonstration
A concert by the Union Musicale de Coutras, at the Salle Le Sully
The day will conclude with a complimentary afternoon tea, providing an opportunity to share a delicious and convivial moment together.
We look forward to seeing many of you there, dressed in sea-themed costumes and ready to celebrate!
