From the Jardin de la Lamproie, stroll along the banks of the Dordogne and through the vineyards of Sainte-Terre!
The stages
From the entrance to the Jardin de la Lamproie on the main road (D670/the building has its back to you), turn opposite into Rue Churchill Roosevelt. Continue straight on until you reach the end of this road (about 1.5km).
Continue left into the dead-end road. The path veers right onto the ‘route du Broucaud’. Follow the Dordogne for a few kilometres towards the Cales de Vignonet. Opposite is the village of Cabara and its viewpoint over the Dordogne.
After the ‘Lacale’ gîte, turn directly right. At the end of the road, turn right again.
At the crossroads, cross the D670 and continue almost straight ahead on the road which bends to the left. Turn right at the stop sign. Go straight on past the post office, then take the first turning on t
At the end of the path, opposite the vines, turn right. Then turn left between the vines. At the end of the path, turn right and continue straight ahead until you reach the tarmac road.
At the road, turn left along the vineyards. At the fork in the road, turn right and continue straight ahead until you reach the D670.
At the main road, turn left after crossing the road. Take the first track on your right, as far as the next junction. Turn left. Continue along this path until you reach the next junction.
Turn right. At the first fork in the road, continue along the same path, which bends to the left. At the next fork, continue to the right. You will pass through a small hamlet, which will take you back to the rue Churchill Roosevelt where you started. At the junction with this road, turn left to get back to the starting point.
