Halloween weekend – 24 and 25 October 2026

On the last weekend of October, Vayres Castle will be transformed into a veritable theatre of thrills and magic!

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, from 1 pm to 7 pm, young and old alike are invited to immerse themselves in the Halloween atmosphere through shows, games and entertainment.

No booking is required (tickets available on the door), and visitors are encouraged to come in fancy dress to enjoy a spine-chilling Halloween.

On the programme: spectacular falconry displays, jousting tournaments and, in the inner courtyards and the grounds, unexpected encounters with eerie characters: witches and gnomes, a dragon, an executioner and the devil. Fun games,
theatrical sketches, a witch hunt, a werewolf trial, lessons in witchcraft and face-painting workshops will keep the afternoon lively.

Le château lui-même ne sera pas en reste : son rez-de-chaussée ouvrira ses portes pour une visite spéciale “château hanté”, réservée aux plus courageux. 

Pour clore la journée, à 18h30, petits monstres et grands sorciers partageront la traditionnelle soupe de bave de crapaud, concoctée pour l’occasion.

Une restauration légère (boissons, crêpes, gaufres…) sera proposée sur place pour reprendre des forces entre deux frayeurs.
