On the last weekend of October, Vayres Castle will be transformed into a veritable theater of thrills and enchantment!
On Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m, young and old alike are invited to immerse themselves in the Halloween atmosphere through shows, games, and activities.
No advance booking is required (tickets available on site), and visitors are encouraged to come in costume to enjoy a spooky Halloween.
The program includes spectacular falconry displays, knight tournaments, and unexpected encounters with sinister characters in the courtyards and grounds. Theatrical skits, witch hunts, werewolf trials, spell-casting lessons, menhir throwing, and “disturbed” battles, as well as makeup workshops, will punctuate the afternoon.
The castle itself will not be left out: its ground floor will open its doors for a special “haunted castle” tour, reserved for the bravest visitors.
To end the day, at 6:30 p.m., little monsters and great wizards will share the traditional toad slime soup, concocted for the occasion.
Light refreshments (drinks, crepes, waffles, etc.) will be available on site to recharge your batteries between scares.
