The history of the Mouty vineyards began in 1923.
Donat Mouty, who was passionate about Saint-Emilion wines, set his sights on the vineyards of Château du Barry.

Driven by the same passion, his son Noël Mouty later took over and continued to develop the estate. 1973 saw the arrival of Daniel Mouty and his wife Françoise.
They brought a new lease of life to the management of the estate, modernising winemaking techniques while preserving the identity of each wine.

Today, their children Sabine and Bertrand, representing the fourth generation, run the vineyard. Alongside the constant development of the commercial activity, they continue to modernise the family business.

2020 marks the arrival of a new estate for the family in the heart of Saint-Emilion: Château Vieux Clos Saint Emilion (6hectares) . Come and discover the life of a charming estate by visiting our cellar and tasting our range of wines.
