Journées du Patrimoine au Train Touristique

As they do every year, volunteers from the Association des Amis du Chemin de Fer de la Vallée de l’Isle (AACFVI), who run the Guîtres to Marcenais Tourist Train and the Pays Gabay Rail Bike, will be presenting the equipment at Guîtres station on Saturday 20 September from 2pm to 6pm and on Sunday 21 September from 2pm to 6pm. Train shuttles between Guîtres and Lapouyade will be free on Sunday afternoon (departures at 2.30pm and 4pm).

Access to the site is free and open to all. Volunteers will welcome you at the station to show you their activities, the two museum rooms, the history of the line, and the many pieces of equipment, several of which are classified as Historic Monuments. You can take a self-guided tour or listen to the volunteers' commentary to enrich your experience!
