Exposition Coutras – Plus très loin du soleil

Raphaël Alendroit is a passionate self-taught photographer who captures his surroundings with a strong focus on emotion and introspection.

Aware of the power of photography as a means of suspending time, he explores contrasts to accentuate the visual and narrative impact of his shots.

The exhibition ‘Plus très loin du soleil’ (Not Far from the Sun) highlights close-up shots with a central element such as a portrait, a texture or a detail, from 19 September to 18 October at the Maurice Druon exhibition space.

The colour orange, omnipresent, becomes the common thread of this series of photographs and symbolises for the artist a personal way of anchoring himself in the present moment.
