Château Vieille Tour la Rose, located 5 minutes by car from the medieval town of Saint-Émilion, is a family property belonging to the YBERT family for more than four generations.
Its plots of vines extend over approximately 5 hectares on the northern flank of the Saint-Emilion hillside and are characterised by sandy-ferruginous soils as well as a clay subsoil.
The vinification is carried out in concrete and stainless steel vats in the traditional way and the ageing is carried out in French oak barrels. Since 1987, the wine produced here has been awarded the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru classification every year due to an ever-increasing quest for quality.
The family welcomes you to the estate from Monday to Friday, with an appointment, to help you discover its history and know-how during a free tasting visit. Take the opportunity to discover the wines made at the family's two other properties: Château Les Polyanthas (Saint-Émilion) and Domaine Vieux Taillefer (Pomerol).
