Château Louis has 50-year-old vines from the beautiful argilo-calcareous terroir at the heart of the appellation Saint Emilion.
Due to the density of plantation and the age of vines, the yields are more than moderated with a concentrated and quality matter.
The final blend brings in 90 % of Merlot and 10 % of Cabernet Franc.
After manual grape harvests and a winemaking in thermoregulated wooden vats supervised by Stéphane Derenoncourt, the breeding takes place.
