The Cordeliers cloister is a 14th century cloister classified as a Historic Monument. Its three-kilometer underground galleries have allowed us, since 1892, to produce exceptional sparkling wines using the traditional method.

The guided tour begins with a historical explanation of this former cloister, classified as a Historic Monument, an architectural masterpiece renovated in 2019 which combines the ancient and the modern.

It continues in part of the 3 km of underground galleries 20m underground in which the sparkling wines of Cordeliers are produced, the history of the quarries and the production method are detailed there.

It is punctuated by a tasting of vintage vintages accompanied by one of the famous Saint Emilion macaroons, in the mezzanine of the 15th century church.

Walking tour lasting approximately 40 minutes, possibility of taking an elevator for people with reduced mobility.
