Château Trianon is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru estate of 16 Ha (39,54 acres), with 14,5 hectares (35,83 acres) of vines on the south-west plateau of the appellation area, featuring sandy clay soils over iron-bearing rock with red gravel on the surface of some plots.

The grape varieties grown here are classic with one surprise : 80% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Carmenere, which is an old variety native to the Bordeaux area that is no longer grown in significant quantities in the region.

It contributes intense colour to the blend and adds to its aromatic complexity.
