Like their parents, their great grandparents ... like any farmer in love with his land, Jean, Anne-Lise and Pierre, have always looked after their vines by working the soil without using chemical weed killers. As a matter of course, Anne-Lise and Pierre have converted the vineyard to Organic Agriculture in 2001.
For us (Audrey & Olivier) there is no question of doing otherwise. The desire to even go “beyond” drives us and guides us over the vintages: work by letting act and not by wanting to control everything. Demanding but not very interventionist, or as little as possible, in the vineyard as in the cellar so that terroir and vintage can express themselves.
We want to make wines that reflect and respect the place where they were born and the people who contributed to them.
Rally with the same convictions we move forward together, without recipe but with method: grapes brought to maturity as a team and harvested by hand which will evolve in vats, only with indigenous yeasts and a minimum of sulfur.
Gestures, words, actions, music ... feed each vintage. No one needs artifice and a crutch. Nature, if left alone, gives you the essentials.
