The Apprentice Winemakers Workshop At Château Cormeil-Figeac
Children take to the vines in grape-picking baskets to pick leaves, pebbles and seasonal flowers. They learn to taste grape juice like the pros by following the 3 stages of tasting and using a spittoon. They label and cap bottles by hand.
And the parents ? They enjoy to see their child happy and active while learning about the winegrowing profession. A wine tasting session is offered for them at the end of the visit.
Lunch available on site in the shade of the lime tree. Barbecue available in July and August only. Booking required. Book your beef kebabs and grill them yourself on our giant vineyard barbecues. They are served with home-made fried potatoes, with or without a glass of wine.
Take advantage of the free-access swimming pool (currently unavailable), which is under parents' responsibility before or after the workshop. No registration required.
