Departing from Ste-Terre, the lamprey capital of the world, this flat 6km loop is ideal for families. Discover the flora and fauna of the Dordogne, which has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2012.
The stages
From Ste-Terre church, take the D123 to the left, towards Ch. Gueyrosse, the EHPAD and the campsite.
At the crow's feet, turn slightly right onto Rue du Parlement.
Go down the Rue du Parlement and continue along the Route du Challon to the shore and follow the banks of the Dordogne.
After the hamlet, at the crow's-foot opposite the one-way sign, leave the shore by taking the road on the left.
At the junction, turn left and follow the tarmac road.
Take the path on the left and follow it to the end to rejoin Rue du Parlement
Continue straight ahead.
Take the path on the left and follow it to the end to rejoin Rue du Parlement.
Follow the path to the left and join Rue du Parlement.
Turn right, pass the wash-house and head up towards the village, as far as the church.
