Festival Vino Voce - La voix des hommes préhistoriques

Lecture and meeting with Jean-Jacques HUBLIN, Chair of Palaeoanthropology at the Collège de France.
How did prehistoric man speak? Did they have a voice like humans since Sapiens? Did they emit sounds similar to animal cries?
It is very difficult to trace the origins of language, quite simply because there is no fossil record of it. It is now thought that humans began to communicate very early on, well before the appearance of Homo sapiens, as was long believed.
