On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Lamprey Garden welcomes young and old alike for educational activities on Saturday 16 September from 1:30PM to 5:30PM.

 

Presentation of fishing techniques

Meet Sabine and David Durand, lamprey fishermen in Sainte-Terre, who will introduce you to the fishing techniques of this prehistoric animal. Games around the migratory fish will entertain the little ones.
In collaboration with the Cabestan, fisherman's farm.

 

Tasting & sale of lamprey

Come and taste this 450 million year old animal, emblem of the village of Sainte-Terre, cold "en rillette" or hot "à la bordelaise".

What is Biodiversity?

This is an opportunity to learn more about biodiversity issues with Jacqueline Rabic, Grand Master of the Brotherhood of the Lamprey.

Church of Saint-Alexis

The Saint-Alexis church of Sainte-Terre, dating from the XIth century, of Romanesque and Gothic style, has been listed in the Historic Monuments Register since 1925.
Special opening from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm
