    [ VÈR ] - Le Baz'Art

    24 May 2019
From May 24th to 25th, at 7:30 pm, come and see Julien Barret's show [vèr] at the Baz'Art!   Come and have a verse, Come and have a word, You're going to taste it! This show goes beyond the traditional theatrical schemes and tends towards the cabaret. A cabaret in which the glass of wine becomes an essential issue, and the spectator invites him to a banquet...   How about we sit around a few? Sometimes spoken, sometimes sung, this invitation to a tasting of words and wines will imperceptibly lead you to toast in the company of the poets, comedians, lyricists and singers who mark this cabaret-like conference. From Charles Baudelaire to Nougaro, Pierre Desproges, Georges Brassens, Alain Leprest or Gilbert Lafaille, this glass-in-hand show humorously celebrates wine through the art of tasting... and drunkenness through poetry.

  • Music and wine festival Controled Music of Origin

Music and wine festival Controled Music of Origin

    01 June 2019
Festival Appellation Controlled Music Dance in rythm of the castles     Appellation Controlled Music is a friendly festival, family-friendly, quality and free price.  At the end of the 3rd edition, the "Les Voisins" association was created with the aim of creating a cultural event in partnership with several local associations and wine estates, in order to revitalize and promote the entire region, while opening the event to other castles. Each year, the festival offers a selection of artists from our region and in order not to be associated with a particular musical style, it remains as eclectic as possible. Always in a desire to involve local actors, the first part of the festival is hosted by the L’Ecole de musique de Montagne (AML) and the Harmonie Sainte-Cécile de Saint-Emilion.     It is happening at the square of the Marronniers in Montagne on June Saturday 1st from 12:00 pm !     For the 5th edition, the festival opens at lunchtime with a meal on reservation, carefully prepared and made with local products. To book the Saturday lunch, it's here.           The programme   BAGDAD RODEO : is not only a sarcastic Rock'n'roll band, it is above all the best rock band of all time (according to their neighbour beekeeper). Texts so deep that even Commander Cousteau would not have dared to venture so far. A music so intense that even Lindt chocolate seems bland and bitter next door. Baghdad Rodeo will delight young and old alike with the communicative energy that emerges from its uncompromising artistic universe.   TWAN TEE & The backwash band : a young singer from Bordeaux, originally from Essonne, influenced by artists such as Capleton, Dennis Brown, Eek a Mouse, Twinkle Brother... His songs, supported by vocal harmonies and brass arrangements, brilliantly blend the original spirit of a reggae tinged with soul with more modern, digital and dub influences.   DAMEHOOD : Very present on the local scene in recent years, Damehood brings together 5 musicians aged 17 to 18 who compose their own rock songs. Formed four years ago by the drummer and singer at the Libourne music school Rythm and Groove, the group was then joined by a bassist, a pianist and a guitarist. They will transport you through their musical compositions and will transmit their energy and freshness.   LA COLLECTORE : explosive band, La Collectore dismantles and diverts all the codes of municipal harmony, introducing its punk hip-hop touch while keeping the coppery, festive and popular side of the bandas... the mix is radical... Served by a rhythmic section worthy of a bulldozer turning with ether (bass, electric guitars, banjo, bass drum, snare drum), a blower desk under the ventoline (transverse flutes, saxs, trumpets, trombones, clarinets, souba) and a furious and raging song, the clique takes you into its boisterous, dark and melodious universe...   DJ PIERRO & LYLY : passionate about alternative music, Pierro aka GRANïT took his first steps in 2007, with the AMNESIK crew (Aveyron), moving from drum machine / synthesizer to a DJ performance on turntables. He then discovered the M.A.O. software (computer-assisted music) and created GRANïT LIVE in 2013. In the same year, he met Lyly, who quickly developed a taste for the mix and played his mixes in alternative environments or in private parties (BAR, CLUB). Very involved in this universe, the duo creates TRAVEL PROD, with the aim of introducing brand new artists, including mix video, photography and musical recording, and events. PIERRO & LYLY takes you into their universe filled with musicality and Good Vibes.       On the spot   1 wine bar with 6 partners: - Château Croix beauséjour- Château Haut musset- Castle La grande barde- Lateyron Castle- Château Franc Beaudron- A sixth castle to come   1 beer bar with: - premium beer - artisanal beer La Vestibule - 1 Mexican foodtruck- The restaurant of Les Marronniers open on the Festival- 1 snack-restaurant organized by the Mountain Festivals Committee- Boards of sausages and cheeses from the caterer De l'Art et du Cochon de SaintChristophe des Bardes- And oysters from the Arcachon basin coming directly from the producer- Desserts made by the Mountain Bakery   More information :   Facebook page of the event Camping possible Fall back to the dining room for the meal in case of unfortunate rain If you wish  to support the association or book the Saturday lunch, it is here.    assolesvoisins@gmail.com

  • Le Baz'Art - Trio Flamenco

    Le Baz'Art - Trio Flamenco

    07 June 2019
On Friday June 7 at the Baz'Art, come and join us for the Flamenco Trio concert at the Baz'Art at 8:45 pm!   If Nicolas Saez's ensemble shines today as a sextet, Nicolas Saez, guitarist and composer of the ensemble, originally created a trio that quickly transformed into a quartet, then a quintet and finally a sextet. Today the Trio is a formation in its own right and asserts its own identity and repertoire. The musicians are all from the ensemble in sextet, Nicolas Saez on guitar and composition is accompanied by Nicolas Frossard on violin and Julien Cridelause on bass. The new flamenco repertoire is resolutely contemporary but borrows from jazz, classical and Latin music without detaching itself from the roots of flamenco. Indeed, the will is to experiment a flamenco borrowed from contemporaneity with openness as a key word! Not all the musicians of the Trio come from the flamenco scene, so the respective universes (jazz, gypsy, Latin and rock) will enrich and nourish the repertoire.
