Another way to discover Saint-Emilion, in just 3 hours!
Finish your visit with a glass of Crémant at the Cordeliers.

 

You are welcomed by your guide at the Saint-Emilion Tourist Office.

 
9:30 am – Visit of the underground monument
45 minutes in the heart of the underground monuments and its monolithic church.
During this visit, immerse yourself in the ancient pilgrimage site! From the legend of Emilion to the digging of the largest underground church in Europe, your guide will also take you to the catacombs, not to mention the Chapelle de la Trinité and its superb 14th century paintings. A summary of medieval history through 4 monuments.

 

10:30 am - Patrimonial and historical treasure hunt
At the end of the visit, your guide gives a road map to each team (made up of teams of 8 people on average). It's up to you to play and let the best win! The treasure hunt ends at the Cordeliers.
> Duration: about 1 hour

 

11:30 am - Visit and tasting at the Cordeliers cloister
Your guide joins you at the Cordeliers cloister and collects your roadmaps to check your answers.

 

During this time, we invite you to visit the underground cellars where their sparkling wines have been produced since 1892 in the 17 metres underground caves in full respect of traditions and quality.


> Duration of visit: about 20 minutes. Limited to 20 people maximum.
In the event of a larger group, it will be necessary to consider two staggered visits.  

 

At the end of the visit, announcement of the results of the game in the cloister's garden (a reward is given to each team) and tasting a glass of Crémant de Bordeaux to conclude the programme in a friendly and convivial manner.

 

12:00 pm - End of the programme

Booking must be made in advance .

Minimum capacity :  20 people.

Maximum capacity : 40 people, beyond 40 contact us.

1 person free for 20 paying people.

This programme can only be made with a Tourist Office guide.

The fee per person (without guide) includes : the visit, admission fees to the monuments, tasting fees.

The fee does not include : the lunch, transportation (on request) or personal expenses.

The guide fees are per guide and for one group of a maximum 40 people. These include the guide service for the whole programme as mentioned.
