Included:  visits and tastings in  2 wine estates. Lunch in a restaurant.


You are welcomed by your guide at the Tourist Office of Saint-Émilion.


9:30 am – The Saint-Émilion city tour

Follow your guide through several centuries of history! From the village's foundation in the 8th century to the French Revolution in 1789 through the period of English domination:Discover the rich past of Saint-Émilion through its main monuments.

Traditional streets, cloisters, city gate, fortifications and underground monuments have so much to tell you. Without forgetting a viewpoint to admire the beautiful sleeping city.




10:30 am – The vineyards of Saint-Émilion, a World Heritage Site **

This tour enables visitors to discover the outstandingly beautiful vine-covered Saint-Émilion countryside. The Jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in December 1999 for its historical wineyard landscape.


12:30 pm – Lunch in a restaurant. 
Lunch in a local restaurant. Discover the pleasure of connection between wine and food. The lunch includes : starter, main course, dessert, coffee and 2 glasses of wine.


2:30 pm – Departure from Saint-Émilion to the Médoc
You will leave the right bank of the Garonne to go to the Médoc, a large wine region on the left bank, between the estuary of the Gironde and the Atlantic Ocean. You go on the famous D2 road, which crosses villages known as wine appellations : Saint Julien, Margaux, Saint Estèphe, Pauillac…
You discover beautiful chateaux bordering the road. At 4:00 pm, you will visit a vineyard classified in 1855 (tasting included). You will continue until the little village of Bages, before taking the road back to Bordeaux.

6:30 pm - End of the guided tour in Bordeaux

General terms and conditions :

Booking must be made in advance ; the tours are available all year long (except December 25th and January 1st).

Maximum capacity : 50 people; beyond 50 please contact us.

The group fees are from 20 people about Terroir option and from 10 people about other menus.

Free admission to the underground monuments : 1 person free for 20 paying people.

The fee per person (without guide) includes : admission fees to the monuments.

The fee does not include : transportation (on request) or personal expenses.

The guide fees are per guide and for one group of a maximum 50 people. These include the guide service for the whole programme as mentioned.
