Highlight of the day: friendly lunch at the property with the winemaker!

 

You're welcomed by your guide at the wine Saint-Emilion tourist office.

 

11:30 am – Visit and « Casse Croûte » lunch with the winemaker in a wine estate

Departure to a family wine estate of Saint-Émilion. The winemaker greets you and gives you a tour of his estate: the vines, the wine cellar and the vat room. He also allows you to discover the different steps of the winemaking process in Saint-Emilion. Then, share a friendly "Casse-Croûte" lunch with him, including 3 wines of the estate. We give you the choice of 2 options for lunch:

  • the wine-grower "casse-croûte" with regional cold meats, mixed salads, cheeses, seasonal fruits, dried fruits and coffee.
  • or the steak party : regional cold meats, grilled rib-steak on vine shoots, potatoes, cheeses, seasonal fruits, dried fruits and coffee.

 

3:00 pm – The vineyards of Saint-Émilion, a World Heritage Site

This tour enables visitors to discover the outstandingly beautiful vine-covered Saint-Émilion countryside. The Jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in December 1999 for its historical vineyard landscape.

 

4:00 pm –  Saint-Émilion City tour

Follow your guide through several centuries of history! From the village's foundation in the 8th century to the French Revolution in 1789 through the period of English domination:Discover the rich past of Saint-Émilion through its main monuments.

Traditional streets, cloisters, city gate, fortifications and underground monuments have so much to tell you. Without forgetting a viewpoint to admire the beautiful sleeping city.

 

5:30 pm - End of the programme.

The schedule can change on request.
Booking must be made in advance ; the tours are available all year long (except December 25th and January 1st).
Minimum capacity : 20 people.
Maximum capacity : 50 people, beyond 50 contact us.
1 person free for 20 paying people.
This programme can only be made with a guide of the Tourist Office.
The fee per person (without guide) includes : the visit, admission fees to the monuments, tasting fees, lunch (wine and coffee includes). Contact us for the menu options.
The fee does not include : transportation (on request) or personal expenses.
The guide fees are per guide and for one group of a maximum 50 people. These include the guide service for the whole programme as mentioned.
