A day exploring the regions of Saint-Émilion and Pomerol
Included: a visit and tasting of 2 wine estates
Your guide from the Tourist Office will get on board of your bus when you arrive.
The appointment is usually set at the north entrance of the village.
10:00 am – The vineyards of Saint-Émilion, a World Heritage Site
This tour enables visitors to discover the outstandingly beautiful vine-covered Saint-Émilion countryside. The Jurisdiction of Saint-Émilion was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in December 1999 in honour of its historic vineyard landscape. While you are admiring the scenery from your coach, your guide will describe the characteristics of the wine of Saint-Émilion, its history, its châteaux, and the expertise of its winegrowers. The tour includes a visit of an estate where you will meet the winegrower. Of course, you will be able to taste the wine there as well !

12:30 pm – Lunch in a restaurant
Lunch in a local restaurant. Discover the pleasure of connection between wine and food. The lunch includes : starter, main course, dessert, coffee and 2 glasses of wine.
2:30 pm – Continuation of the tour around the vineyards and visit of a wine estate in Pomerol
The tour continues to the nearby vineyard: Pomerol AOC, one of the smallest appellations in the Bordeaux area, which represents only 2000 acres. During the tour your guide will show you the world famous Grand Crus wine estates, but also family estates. Visit of a wine estate of the appellation and a commented tasting
4:30 pm – The Saint-Émilion city tour
Follow your guide through several centuries of history! From the village's foundation in the 8th century to the French Revolution in 1789 through the period of English domination:Discover the rich past of Saint-Émilion through its main monuments.
Traditional streets, cloisters, city gate, fortifications and underground monuments have so much to tell you. Without forgetting a viewpoint to admire the beautiful sleeping city.
18:00 pm - End of the programme
Your bus is used for this program from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm (around 60 kms)

Booking must be made in advance ; the tours are available all year long (except December 25th and January 1st).
The schedule can change on request.
Maximum capacity : 40 people; beyond 40 please contact us.
The group fees are from 20 people about Terroir option and from 10 people about other menus.
Free admission to the underground monuments : 1 person free for 20 paying people.
The fee per person (without guide) includes : admission fees to the monuments.
The fee does not include : transportation (on request) or personal expenses.
The guide fees are per guide and for one group of a maximum 40 people. These include the guide service for the whole programme as mentioned.
